Hope pendant by CosmicFolklore Hope pendant by CosmicFolklore
Hope Pendant, Copper, sterling and pure silver, nickel, glass, and pyrite. This is a box pendant with a .25" thick sheet of hand ground and facetted glass covering and holding in the free floating pyrite. This work was an experimentation in ways to include stone and mineral samples into my work in non-traditional ways. The hand reaching up for the copper hook is riveted to the backing, yet sticking out enough to add to the 3-dimensional effect of the work. The hook is also free floating on its chain within the glassed in box.

I try to allow the galleries to sell my work. Lora at [link] handles my sales for me. I have done a few comissions, just let me know what you want, and we can discuss it :o)

Thanks!!!

A little disturbing but very unique.

I'm glad to see you taking a stab at combining materials in different ways.

It's refreshing to see. :)

Nice work.

Thanks, no, I didn't mean for it to come across as dark as it did, but I kinda liked it anyway.
