Ouroboros Ring by CosmicFolklore Ouroboros Ring by CosmicFolklore
Ouroboros Ring: sterling silver and 2 amethysts. Size 7.

This ring was cast using a very primitive method called steam casting. This gentleman has an excellent tutorial, [link] . Steam is a method as ancient as the Egyptians. It is low tech, requires no major purchases of equipment. Using a Coleman camp stove with a flower pot, and a tuna can with paper towels, you can make quality castings that rival vacuum or centrifugal casting.

I set two amethysts into each side as eyes for this ouroboros.

This reminds me of the story series Wheel of Time. In it, there are woman who wear rings in the shape of a snake eating its tail. This is very nice.

A ouroboros, its a symbol that I play around with a lot. It's from ancient Greek philosophies, Plato.
Thank you :)
